A Special Visit from Dunreyth Alpacas
There was plenty of excitement at Manor Barn Care Home last week when residents welcomed two alpacas from Dunreyth Alpacas.
Laughter filled the home as the gentle alpacas wandered through the lounge, patiently pausing as residents reached out to stroke their lovely soft coats. Residents also took part in lively conversations as they shared stories of pets they’d once owned or time spent in the countryside.
“The visit was truly unforgettable,” said Home Administrator, Nealey. “We are so grateful to Dunreyth Alpacas for bringing such joy and comfort to our residents. Seeing their faces light up was a wonderful reminder of the special bond between humans and animals.”
Animal visits are always popular at Manor Barn, as they offer comfort and companionship in a meaningful way that brings happiness and well-being to the residents. This one was no exception, leaving behind plenty of smiles and conversations that continued long after the alpacas had trotted off home.
